Node UX In A Nutshell
Node UX is a Digital Innovations Think Tank focusing on combining the empathic processes of UX-thinking with an intuitive approach towards data-science. Welcome!
Why UX-thinking is important in data-science
The exponential growth of connected data is shaping how we develop everything from products and services to infrastructure and even our society – yet, there's is surprisingly little knowledge amongst decision-makers about the strategic importance of the right data-structures and systems theory.
Applications today need to have a User Experience that is highly intuitive. However, this intuitiveness needs to reach far beyond front-end development and User Interfaces. At times when disruptive product and business development happens at the Data-structure level – that's where UX-design needs to be.
The purpose of NODE UX is to provide insights through lectures, collaborations and work shops on how Graph-theory, Emergence and Algorithms – all very technical terms – have a highly intuitive dimension, and how it's a perfect fit for Design-thinking! Scroll down to see who participated so far.
Your data will grow exponentially
Data is growing exponentially. The main reason why this is happening is because of two things – 1) The increasing data-volume from user interaction and 2) the fact that devices are increasingly connected. The companies who will be able to leverage this data will see significant opportunity — others will fall short.
Talks, collaborations & work shops
NODE UX offers work shop-programs for companies, institutions, schools & universities, and digital agencies. Popular topics are:
- Internet of Things from a data-science perspective
- Emergence and Systems Theory in Design
- Data-modeling from a UX-perspective
